(R)Evolution, our partner in the city of Hyderabad in India, conducted the COP19 COP in MyCity Simulation Conference (first of its kind in India) at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad which focused on consensus building, negotiations and simulations on the lines of COP 19. They simulated a UN Climate Summit with technical data using C-ROADS by Climate Interactive modelled on the lines of IPCC norms. The project received the support of Prof. Ch Sasikala, HOD, Center for Environment, Institute of Science and Technology.
The simulation lasted nearly 6 hours with two rounds of negotiations and an opening ice-breaking session.

Listen to the feedback of the organizers:
"Finally we're done with the simulation part. It's probably the best part of the whole Cop In My City campaign so far. [...] Everybody had a wonderful session filled with lots of learning and fun. We're looking forward to organize another simulation as soon as possible. [...] We hope that by COP21 we will be able to reach maximum audience about the process and how they can play an active role in the same. Cheers !"

We are all ecxcited to read the final report but in the meantime, check out all the splendid pictures of the event here!
