Welcome to Warsaw in San José, Costa Rica! Discover more about the youth association leading this project, CO2 CR.
CO2.CR is a climate think tank lead by youth professionals and university students, who want to help Costa Rica become a low carbon a climate resilient country. One of its thematic areas is raising awareness, educate, and empower youth in climate change.
Why did you decide to join COP in MyCity?
"We decided to run a pilot simulation game in Costa Rica in order to educate the youth about the importance of being involved in international climate change policy (UNFCCC). Central America is one of the most vulnerable regions in the world, so we want youth to be involved, demand strong climate actions to Central American governments, and we want the world to know it. That´s why we join COP in MyCity." (Alejandra Granados and Marcello Hernandez for the CO2CR team).
